The student profile
Every student has a profile page you can open from your Students list or from inside a class’s roster. It has five tabs:- Overview — recent activity, an attendance breakdown, a grade trend chart, and an assignment summary at a glance
- Attendance — totals (present / absent / late / excused) plus a full session-by-session record
- Grades — average, highest, and lowest scores, a grade trend over time, a breakdown by assignment type, and every graded item with the feedback you left
- Assignments — submission rate and the status of every assignment (submitted, graded, pending, late, missing)
- Behavior — a breakdown of positive/neutral/negative notes, and the full log
Grading
- Gradebook entries (homework, quizzes, participation — anything you enter by hand) are added directly against a student in a class, with a score, a maximum, and optional feedback. They show up immediately in that student’s Grades tab and in the parent’s view.
- Online exam attempts are graded automatically — see Creating an Online Exam for how objective vs. free-text questions are handled.
- Final grades for a class (a letter grade and weighted average) are computed from everything you’ve entered and shown at the top of the Grades tab once available.
