Finding an exam
When a teacher publishes an exam to a class you’re actively enrolled in, it shows up under that class in your Classes. Open it to start your attempt. While you’re taking it
- Depending on how your teacher set it up, you can either move freely between questions, or — for timed exams — answer them in order with a timer on each one.
- Stay on the exam tab. Switching away, minimizing the window, or exiting fullscreen is tracked, and doing it too many times can end your attempt automatically.
- Your answers save as you go.
Submitting
Submit when you’re done (or it submits automatically if time runs out). What happens next depends on the question types:- Multiple choice, true/false, numeric, and matching questions are graded instantly — you may see your score right away, depending on when your teacher allows results to be shown.
- Short answer and essay questions are graded by AI shortly after submission, usually within a few minutes. Your attempt shows as pending until that finishes.
