# Adding Students to a Class

> Approve join requests, or handle them in bulk.

## How students join

Students find your class and send a **join request**. Nothing happens automatically — you decide who gets in.

## Approving or rejecting requests

1. Open the class from your **[Classes](https://www.trackademi.com/en/teacher/classes)** list. If it has requests waiting, you'll see a badge with the count on its card.
2. Click **Join Requests** (top right of the class page).
3. A panel opens listing everyone waiting, with when they requested to join.
4. For each request, choose:
   * **Accept** — the student is enrolled immediately and can access the class
   * **Reject** — the request is declined; the student isn't enrolled

## Handling many requests at once

In the same panel, select multiple requests (or use **select all**) and accept or reject them together — useful right after opening enrollment for a new term.

<Tip>
  A rejected request isn't final in a punitive sense — a student can request to join again later if circumstances change.
</Tip>

## Where enrolled students show up

Once accepted, a student appears in:

* The class's own student list
* Your overall **[Students](https://www.trackademi.com/en/teacher/students)** page, across all your classes
* Their own **Classes** list, on their side, as an active enrollment

## What's next

With students enrolled, you can [take attendance](/en/teacher/attendance-and-behavior), [create an exam](/en/teacher/creating-an-exam) for them, or check in on how each of them is doing — see [Grading & Tracking Progress](/en/teacher/grading-and-tracking-progress).
