# Getting Started as a Student

> Sign in and find your way around your dashboard.

## Sign in

Go to the [sign-in page](https://www.trackademi.com/en/auth) and choose **Student**. Sign in with Google or with your email and password — students don't need a phone number to get started.

  Want to look around first? Use **Try Demo** on the sign-in page and pick **Student** — it signs you into a demo account that's already enrolled in classes, with grades, attendance, and an exam waiting to be taken.

## Your dashboard

Once you're signed in, your [dashboard](https://www.trackademi.com/en/student) shows:

* How many classes you're enrolled in, your grade average, and your attendance rate
* Your upcoming class sessions
* Your most recent grades
* Your enrolled classes, including any join requests still waiting on the teacher

From the sidebar you can reach **[Classes](https://www.trackademi.com/en/student/classes)**, **[Assignments](https://www.trackademi.com/en/student/assignments)**, **[Grades](https://www.trackademi.com/en/student/grades)**, **[Attendance](https://www.trackademi.com/en/student/attendance)**, **[Submissions](https://www.trackademi.com/en/student/submissions)**, **[Messages](https://www.trackademi.com/en/student/messages)**, and an [AI chat assistant](https://www.trackademi.com/en/student/ai-chat) for study help.
